At the very beginning of the Rishelievskaya Street there is our famous Opera House. It is a really beautiful building that appeared in Odessa in 1887. The Opera House was projected by the architects F.Feldmer and G.Gelmer. It was built on the place of the first city theatre (projected by Toma de Tomon) that burned down in 1873. The new theatre was built in Viennese Baroque style.
